The Slim Toaster

The Slim Toaster is a great solution to reduce kitchen countertop clutter.
This innovative culinary device earned Ayca Guven and Muzaffer Kocer first prize at an IMMIB Design Competition.
It’s imaginative and practical, it makes efficient use gravity and maintains a standard of neatness.
Only about as thick as three slices of bread, the form of the gadget is streamlined and contemporary with a set of sleek clip-on tongs. Fixed securely to the backsplash, it incorporates a bread slot from top to bottom. Browned slices are dispensed through the base of the Slim Toaster and the crumbs can be collected for bird food.

The Fabbrica Bergen pizzeria

The Fabbrica Bergen pizzeria combines the old world charm of dining cars with the clean look of contemporary design. Inspired by railway trains, this restaurant features some vintage-like details such as dining booths with step ladders, Bisazza-tiled pizza oven and
wood-covered walls.

Designed by Tjep, the Fabbrica Bergen pizzeria is warm, whimsical and lively. Intimate and romantic, it is nevertheless a great family spot as well. According to Tjep Principal Frank Tjepkema, “It’s not time for bling-bling anymore. People want more authenticity than entertainment.”
