Ferragamo "Color on Time" Watch Collection

Salvatore Ferragamo watches are known for their fashionable watches. The Italian brand's F80 range designed to mark its eightieth anniversary, in partnership with Timex, can now be customized as per your choice of color and colored stones setting. Ferragamo's made-to-order "Color on Time" watch collection made its debut in Hong Kong on 29th of March and will travel to other Salvatore Ferragamo flagship stores across the world.

The Ferragamo store at the Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui has opened the made-to-order service for the public with delivery promised within 3 weeks of order. The F-80 "Color on Time" chronograph watches (above) which comes with a 44mm titanium case and quartz technology are also available for personalization. The top ring is made from ceramic material and set with stones which are of natural color. The straps are made of soft leather and interchangeable.

2012 Rolex watches collection

Rolex unveils its much awaited 2012 collection with the highly anticipated Sky-Dweller headlining their latest pieces. The Sky-Dweller is their first dual timezone, annual calendar watch featuring a fluted "RING COMMAND" bezel that rotates to easily allow you to set the time and date. Also new is a date-less Submariner with Cerachrom bezel, a new Yacht-Master, and a steel Datejust II with a smooth bezel.

, Antoine Martin's Quantieme Perpetuel au Grand Balancier watch.

The watchmaker Antoine Martin will introduce their first collection at this year’s Basel watch-fair. With the claim to create timekeepers for those who seek something out of the ordinary, Antoine Martin introduces the Quantieme Perpetuel au Grand Balancier watch. Their first attempt to leave a mark in watchmaking history is equipped with a 17.5mm huge balance wheel, hand-wound caliber AM39.001, which has 60 jewels and features a power reserve of 6 days and perpetual calendar inclusively leap year indicator. The case is made of 18kt rosé gold and the dial shows an intertwined play of polish and satin finishing and a reinterpretation of guilloché pattern making it a quiet modern face embraced by classic gold and alligator leather.

HYT Watch Concept

HYT represents a new concept in watchmaking — HYT stands for “Hydro Mechanical Horologists” and the brand will be dedicated to producing watches that not only contain liquid in them but use the liquid for a functional purpose.
HYT claims 7 pending patents for various aspects of the H1, further underscoring the new ground that HYT CEO Vincent Perriard is breaking with this watch.
Coming in three case styles the H1 will be available in titanium, DLC black coated titanium, and 18k red gold. The case will be 48mm wide and 18mm thick.
Of course the most notable aspect of the watch is the luminescent greenish-yellow liquid ring you see around the dial. The H1 uses the liquid to display the hours on a circular tube around the edge of the dial.
The two piston looking devices you see on the bottom of the dial are used to push and pull the liquid to show the time on the scale.
The minutes are displayed on the medium-sized sub dial set near the center-top watch, with a cool paddle-wheel style seconds hand to the left.
On the right you can see there is also a power reserve indicator (65 hours) for the manual-wind mechanical movement.
The HYT H1 watch price is $45,000 for the titanium model (the titanium DLC and red gold models with be meaningfully higher).

The latest creation by Hublot, the Magic gold watch, which uses a special alloy of gold and other metals, which make the fabric completely scratch resistant. From what the scenario in the luxury watch market is, this creation makes Hublot the first in the world to use this special variety of the gold alloy.
It’s been 3 years, and now the success of creating this alloy has come across. All these years have been used to research and experiment to create this metal, and now several patents are being awaited regarding the use of this metal, as Hublot has lead this from the forefront. 
In terms of technicalities of the watch, nothing is yet known except that it will be showcased at Basel World 2012. Keeping in mind the previous creations of Hublot, one may not see new features, but will definitely see a master timepiece in this newly created gold alloy.
