Canon just unveiled a solution for your budding James Camerons who want to shoot cinema-grade film but still have the capabilities of a top-of-the-line DSLR with their new Canon 1D C. Using an 18.1 megapixel sensor, the camera can shoot both stills and 4K video at 4096 x 2160 resolution at 24 fps and 1080p with frame rates from 24p to 60p. The camera will be compatible with EF lenses and EF Cinema lenses and will retail for $15,000.

EOS 5D Mark III Digital SLR Camera

The giant of DSLR videography hopes to continue its reign with the introduction of the Canon 5D Mark III ($3,500). The full-frame, 22.3 megapixel camera will feature a 61-point Auto Focus system, 6 fps continuous shooting speed, and improved video with 1080p 24p/25p/30p HD recording modes.
