Designer-Inspired Cake Pops

The UK bakery Molly Bakes Cupcakes crafted these personable cake pops for the recent British Fashion Council Christmas Party. The tasty skewered confections were made up to look like prominent designers. The likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour and Vivienne Westwood were honoured with sugary replicas.
Showing off some mad fondant skills, Molly Bakes Cupcakes certainly hit a home run with these designer-inspired cake pops. Complete with their signature shades and dos, these cake pops are uncannily like their muses. These sweet, bite-sized busts are wonderfully adorable and terribly tempting.
Now well-known in fashionable circles, the UK bakery now counts Beyonce’s fashion label House of Dereon as a client.
Sure to make devote fashionistas swoon with delight, these Molly Bakes Cupcakes designer cake pops are as delicious as they are stylish.

BlackBerry concept by John Anastasiadis

It’s a surprise to see how this BlackBerry concept by John Anastasiadis incorporates an all-encompassing sensitive display.
These polished images of the proposed mobile phone picture an uninterrupted interactive surface of apps that smoothly turns the corner along one side of the device, covering the entire back and front of the handset. The only visible buttons appear on the other edge of the gadget, and these presumably offer convenient volume controls. This BlackBerry concept by John Anastasiadis also has at least one more trick up its sleeve. A slim QWERTY keyboard pops out and retracts to accommodate those who still crave tactility.

The KIA Track Ster

The 2012 Chicago Auto Show has just begun and already the spotlight may have been stolen by the Kia Track’ster. The Track’ster is a race-worthy Soul lookalike designed with performance in mind.
The Kia Track’ster is all about power, weight and performance. The Track’ster’s power comes courtesy of a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine pumping out 250 horsepower. The six-speed short throw manual transmission ensures quick shifts and the AWD makes cornering a breeze.

The concept’s weight is kept in check with the removal of two doors and two seats. The rear of the interior is meant to store racetrack essentials such as spare tires, gloves and helmets. The Kia Track’ster is undeniably awesome, but it may be too race-oriented to be mass produced.
