Hublot King Power “D-Wade" Watch
Dwyane Wade has teamed with Hublot to design the limited edition timepiece: “King Power “D-Wade” — a stylish offering for basketball enthusiasts’ and timepiece connoisseurs alike.
This unique basketball inspired watch flaunts a sleek wristband which is outfitted with stitching that closely resembles basketball net material, also showcasing a 48mm in diameter black ceramic casing, while the timepiece’s exquisite face showcases Wade’s jersey number: “3”, further distinguished by his newly designed signature logo which is stamped on the back of the watch.
“I wanted the watch to have basketball characteristics. It’s a combination of a lifestyle and a sports watch. You can dress it up or dress it down,” Wade stated to WWD at the Hublot Madison Avenue flagship store in New York.
“I really wanted to add my subtle details. I wanted it to be authentic to who I am. I think this watch speaks to me and my personality,” Wade continued. “My style is classic and gentlemanly with a little spice mixed in.”
Only 500 units of this exclusive timepiece will be produced – priced at $20,000.

Aston Martin Cygnet & Colette Car Limited Edition
The sleek limited edition first launched in May 2011 with initial customer orders arriving at European dealers currently. The Cygnet is made for contemporary city lifestyles and like every Aston Martin it can be uniquely customized to suit individual tastes and styles, introducing new levels of luxury and bespoke capabilities to city cars.
Orders for the 14 “Cygnet & colette” pieces can be placed through the colette store in Paris for delivery by the end of the year. Prices start from €48,995.
The Aston Martin design team worked extremely close alongside their counterparts at colette to create the stunning + ultra-cool luxury car which features Lightning Silver paint with exclusive colette blue styling accents, including a race-inspired front bumper and bonnet livery, mirror caps and diamond turned road wheels. The car’s dark chocolate themed interior makes for a strikingly rich contrast to the exterior – taking its ‘high-style’ inspiration from colette’s mascot Oscar, the chocolate-brown Labrador.

Abu Dhabi's Destination Village
Abu Dhabi is to construct a new sailing village to boost the Emirate’s appeal to watersports fans, the country’s tourism authorities announced June 13.
The new “Destination Village” will be completed in time for the abu dhabi Volvo Ocean Race’s stop in the Emirate, which is currently scheduled for January 1, 2012.
While the Volvo Ocean Race is in town, the 55,000 square meter village will be the home of the flotilla and a place for members of the public to visit and see the yachts, which will be taking a break on the third stop of their round-the-world competition.
During the two-week stopover, tourism authorities plans to host concerts, in-port races, receptions and evening events, as well as behind-the-scenes tours of Abu Dhabi’s own entry to the race, the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing (ADOR) team yacht.

Tourism authorities believe that the ambitious project will have a longer-term significance and could help boost the Emirate’s appeal as a sporting destination.
“The sea is in our blood and we want to encourage residents, nationals and expatriates alike, to get out onto the water,” explained Mubarak Al Muhairi, the director general of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Authority.
“This will ensure that our hosting leaves a lasting legacy for the emirate and will also boost our long-term ambitions to be recognized as a compelling winter sailing and watersports destination.”
To construct the village, contractors will soon begin dredging the Corniche breakwater, which is overlooked by the Emirate’s impressive skyline, to make it deep enough for the 4.5 meter-keeled yachts to enter safely.
