Chanel’s fierce and sultry red, quilted handbag signed by Karl Lagerfeld was part of the 2008 Chanel Mobile Art exhibition. With only 50 bags ever produced and most given to A-listers of the fashion world, private sale site BillionDollarBabes.com had one of these exclusive Chanel handbags available to purchase for $9,989 in a special “Editor’s Luxury Pick” sale.
It was a rare opportunity to own a piece of fashion history never before available to the public, Billion Dollar Babes featured this striking handbag signed and dated by Karl Lagerfeld on the interior flap. The handbag is elegantly wrapped in a limited edition white Chanel duster bag and arrives in a distinctively crafted wooden box lined in linen. Included also is Chanel Mobile Art press books from places around the world such as Hong Kong, Paris and New York and a CD featuring the making of the handbag.
