Jaguar announced exciting news that it has partnered with Williams F1 to build a production version of the exclusive C-X75 hybrid supercar which was first shown as a concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The four-wheel-drive production version will boast a four-cylinder engine mated to “two extremely powerful electric motors,” at each axle.
The production model will continue to showcase the concept’s sleek all-composite body, while the powerful hybrid supercar is targeting CO2 emissions of less than 99 grams per kilometer, with full-electric running possible for 31 miles, the car is expected to hit 60 mph in less than three seconds flat – achieving 100 mph in less than six, maxing out over 200 mph.
Only 250 units of the Jaguar C-X75 will be built, starting at £700,000 — the build is expected to start in 2013, running through late 2015.
