The Cuptea Brings the Art of Papercraft to Beverage Packaging

Designer Lee Seo-Jin suggests amalgamating the infuser and the vessel into one.
Two pleated Cuptea teacups have been conceived with the hexagonal one for flower tea and the chamfered square-based cup for loose leaf. Both are distributed flat and folded with herbs stored in the bottom, able to open and bloom into a small recyclable receptacle which simply requires hot water. The Cuptea concept allows the consumer to tote her own blend and collapsible mug in her purse or her pocket.
