Swiss jewelry manufacturer de GRISOGONO and German luxury car maker Maybach partnered to unveil a diamond-studded Maybach 62S saloon during Cannes 2011, qualifying this luxury vehicle as the ultimate in luxury for the illustrious jet-setting crowd.
The extravagant unveiling took place at the de GRISOGONO bash during the 64th Annual Cannes International Film Festival — held at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, for an exclusive crowd of 1000.
The diamond-studded Maybach 62S is lavishly adorned with special-carat diamonds which are displayed on the car’s rear center arm rest. However, GRISOGONO and Maybach are working together to develop even more bespoke interior options to showcase the diamonds and precious jewels on the steering wheel, shift lever or seats — as part of its new “Maybach individualization by GRISOGONO” project.
After the marque’s special-carat diamond customization options are finalized, the Maybach 62S Saloon will be officially presented at the Dubai International Motor Show from November, 10-14 2011.
